The CircLean Network, launched by DG GROW and funded by the European Parliament, supports the set up and pilot phase of an innovative, entirely industry-led network of businesses and SMEs to seize industrial symbiosis business opportunities. The network aims at mobilising industries and relevant stakeholders to overcome the challenges of industrial symbiosis today for its increased uptake in Europe.

The network will create:

1. a common methodology to measure and report on resource exchange and benefits from symbiotic exchanges;
2. an online tool for matchmaking and assessment of transactions;
3. and a CircLean Label to accredit members that comply with it.

Core to the initiative is the active engagement of relevant stakeholders – via active participation in the Task Forces – with whom the features of the network will be co-designed .

The CircLean Network will be officially launched during a webinar “CircLean – Industrial Symbiosis as an opportunity for climate neutrality” taking place on 25^th February in the morning. More information about this launch event including agenda and registration is available here
