- F4E-OMF-1126 – Manufacturing and Supply of Diagnostics Components que será gestionado por F4E, siendo la fecha límite 24/09/2021. Adjunto breve descripción del alcance: The scope of this framework contract will include: manufacture to build-to-print specifications of components and assemblies, supply of COTS or customised items to functional specifications, factory acceptance testing, cleaning, packing and shipping. For the following ITER diagnostics and sub-systems: equatorial visible/IR wide-angle viewing system (WAVS), collective Thomson scattering system (CTS), vacuum vessel electrical feedthroughs; and Bolometer installation templates, WAVS is an optical diagnostic providing visible and infra-red images of a large part of the ITER first wall components and inboard divertor targets. WAVS components for 11 lines of sight in 3 ITER equatorial ports will be manufactured under this framework contract, CTS is based in one ITER equatorial port and collects electromagnetic waves from a powerful mm-wave beam scattered by highly energetic ions in the ITER plasma, in order to monitor the dynamics and distribution of the ions. All CTS components in the port plug will be manufactured under this framework contract, There are around 80 vacuum vessel electrical feedthrough assemblies on ITER, which allow up to 5 000 signals from diagnostics in the ITER vacuum vessel to cross the ITER tritium boundary. All the feedthroughs and assemblies will be manufactured under this framework contract, The Bolometer diagnostic consists of around 500 sensitive thermistors housed in around 50 collimator arrays, or cameras, to provide spatially resolved measurement of power emitted by the ITER plasma. Under F4E-OMF-1126, F4E will manufacture up to 22 temporary ‘installation templates’ that will enable installation of the 22 vacuum vessel mounted bolometer cameras in the 2nd assembly phase of ITER. Many of the components and assemblies forming part of the scope of this framework contract are needed for ITER first plasma, and must be delivered by 2023. Adherence to schedule, and thus good project management will be of the upmost importance. Quality requirements will also be demanding and the vacuum vessel electrical feedthoughs are ‘protection important components’ due to their nuclear safety function, meaning that the manufacture needs to be conducted to a very high standard, following appropriate defined requirements and codes/standards.There will be around 20-40 distinct, complex sub-assemblies manufactured under this framework contract, as well as many independent components and supply of COTS or customised items. Several of the assemblies will be manufactured in quantities of more than 10 units, some with slight variations. Many components and sub-assemblies will be required to operate in UHV conditions. El alcance es el siguiente:The In-vessel installation activities for First Plasma are split into three different lots. Lot 1 (BESP) – Welded attachments comprising of welded bosses and Blanket Earth Straps Pedestal. Lot 2 (IDI) – Installation including primarily Diagnostics, such as: looms, loops, magnetic sensors, connectors, feedthroughs, waveguides, micro-fission chambers, neutron activation system, as well as: Vacuum Vessel and Internal components operational instrumentation, pellet and gas injection systems and In-service inspection. Lot 3 (FMI) — Mechanical Installations including VS coil handling, in-vessel coil feedthroughs & feeders (captive), First Plasma Protection Components (FPPC), 3 port plugs (2 diagnostic and 1 EC heating) and related structures and shielding, Installation of 35 VV port closure plates, including feedthroughs, removal of tools, final inspection. This contract will focus on main in-vessel Diagnostics installation activities for First Plasma falling under Lot 2, as described above. Para mas información, consultad la documentación adjunta aquí Breve descripción del alcance: The scope of this Framework Contract is the manufacturing and delivery of the ITER Divertor Inner Vertical Target. The ITER Divertor includes three plasma-facing components (PFCs), namely the Inner Vertical Target (IVT), Outer Vertical Target (OVT) and the Dome (DO). The main function of the ITER Divertor is to exhaust the major part of the plasma thermal power (including alpha power) whilst minimizing the impurity content in the plasma. As the main interface component between the plasma and material surfaces, it shall tolerate high heat loads while at the same time providing neutron shielding for the vacuum vessel and magnet coils, in the vicinity of the ITER Divertor. The IVT, subject of this Framework Contract, consists of a steel supporting structure onto which the plasma-facing units are mounted. A tungsten plasma-facing unit (PFU) is a single poloidal element, which directly faces the plasma. The IVTs will, in their lower part, intercept the magnetic field lines and remove the heat load coming from plasma via conduction and convection during normal and transient operations as well as during off-normal events. The upper part of the IVTs will provide a baffle for neutral particles and remove heat load deposited during off-normal events.
