SERCOBE is the Spanish National Association of Manufacturers of Capital Goods. Its membership is open to companies and groups concerned with the design, manufacture, maintenance erection of capital goods.

SERCOBE is integrated at present by one hundred and eighty industrial groups and fourteen sector associations or circles, representing four hundred companies with an added annual turnover in the sector exceeding 48 billion euros and exports above 27 billion euros.

Main functions of SERCOBE are representing the Capital Goods Industry facing Spanish and foreign economic agents and the promotion of exports of capital goods and industrial facilities. This involves actions including:

- Identification and analysis of projects.
- Selection of most adequate manufacturers for each opportunity.
- Support to the proposals with the best financial solution available.

Requirement of progress in quality and competitiveness of the products and services is a constant aim in the work of SERCOBE. A continued activity has been developed with this purpose, supporting R+D+I, quality of production, safety and enviromental protection.

SERCOBE collaborates in Spain with the public administrations, in particular with the Minitries of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, Economy, Foreign Affairs and Environment, and with ICEX; it is a member of different consulting organs of the Government related to our activity and it is integrated within the employers organisation through the Spanish Confederation of Employers Organisations (CEOE) and CONFEMETAL. In these institutions, it is a member of their directive boards, commisions, technical committees and financial groups, in Spain and abroad.
